Public safety, security, critical infrastructure: the AirHub plugin brings the AirHub Drone Operations Center and autonomous drone docks into Genetec Security Center - live drone + dock video, Normal/Wide/Zoom camera switching, enriched telemetry and Work Order from the map or a geolocated alarm.
The AirHub plugin integrates the AirHub drone platform and its ground stations directly into Genetec Security Center. Automatic fleet discovery, live drone + dock video, Normal / Wide / Zoom camera switching, enriched telemetry and Work Order creation from the map or an alarm are exposed in Security Desk for unified situational awareness.
The Drone Dispatch Framework (DDF) is a Genetec-certified foundation developed by ADDONXPERT (certified third-party developer) that exposes a unified interface for the multi-vendor drone integration into Security Center. The AirHub plugin installs as a DDF add-on (GSC-RS-ADX-DDF-AIRHUB).
Automatic AirHub fleet discovery, always-on multi-camera video (drone + dock), enriched telemetry (per-pack battery, wind, endurance, airworthiness) with configurable thresholds and Work Order creation from Security Desk - removal of the 'separate AirHub console' silo for full aerial supervision from a single console.
Genetec Security Center 5.12, 5.13 and 5.14. The DDF license is only available with Security Center Enterprise packages.
No. The plugin requires an on-premise Security Center deployment because it installs as a native Genetec server role. Security Center SaaS is not supported at this time.
The plugin relies on the AirHub API and supports all drones and ground stations that can be driven through AirHub (the manufacturers supported by the platform). The exact compatibility matrix evolves with AirHub updates and is published in the plugin release notes.
Yes. The plugin authenticates against AirHub via a domain, a port and an encrypted API key. An active AirHub account with the associated API credentials is required customer-side. Discovery of the workspace, drones and docks is then automatic.
As soon as the AirHub API connection is established, the plugin detects the drones and ground stations of the workspace, updates names and drone/dock links, and presents the fleet in Config Tool with no manual entry. Any AirHub-side change is synchronized automatically.
The drone and dock cameras are brought straight into Security Center as native cameras. The dock camera remains available at all times, providing continuous coverage even when the drone is docked - operators keep an uninterrupted video view.
Yes. A dedicated widget in Security Desk lets the operator hot-switch between the drone Normal, Wide and Zoom cameras. A banner permanently displays the active camera type - ideal for both close-up inspections and wide-area overviews.
GPS position, heading, altitude, speed, battery status (per pack, with temperature and health), remaining flight endurance, wind, storage saturation, airworthiness status and dock status are pushed continuously into Genetec as metadata and events. Configurable thresholds (battery, wind, flight time, storage) warn the operator at the right moment, without drowning them in repeated alerts.
Yes. From Security Desk, the operator can create an AirHub Work Order via a dedicated contextual action - right-click on the map or on an alarm tile with GPS coordinates. Work Orders can also be created automatically on Genetec alarms or events. The dispatch priority is configurable in Config Tool.
Yes. The plugin lets you select a Genetec Archiver per drone in Config Tool. Each drone (and its dock) can therefore be recorded on a dedicated Archiver - useful to spread the storage load across multiple Archivers, isolate sensitive video from one site to another, or align recording with the Security Center network topology.
Drone and dock video streams are recorded by the Genetec Archiver just like any Security Center camera. Recordings are therefore replayable from Security Desk using the standard Genetec tools: search by camera or period, timeline, MP4/G64 export, correlation with the mission's Genetec events and alarms - without relying on third-party storage or the AirHub cloud.
GSC-RS-ADDONX-DDF-BASE (Genetec base license of the Drone Dispatch Framework, developed by ADDONXPERT - available only with Security Center Enterprise packages) + GSC-RS-ADX-DDF-AIRHUB (AirHub driver add-on, includes Fleet Monitoring for 5 drones) + ADV-RS-ADX-DDF-1Y to 5Y (mandatory Genetec Advantage contract, from 1 to 5 years, not sold separately).
